The Progress Multiplier events, are events designed to promote outdoor sporting activity.
Participation in Progress events is subject to the registration of a team consisting of at least 1 adult and 1 minor, up to a maximum of 5 members.
Registration is carried out by an adult member of the team (who becomes the team leader) after registering with the Progress APP, which can be downloaded by mobile phone at https://www.progressapp.eu/.
For registration, the team leader will be asked for some personal data: name, surname, age, city of residence, email.
After registering, the team leader will be able to register his team for all the events on the calendar, indicating in the subscription form
team name
the names (or nicknames) and ages of all other team members and, if applicable, their email address, to inform them of the event’s registration
The event will take place at the times and place indicated on the app.
Several game stations (at least 5) will be active during the event, each corresponding to one of the 15 educational games visible in the educational games section of the app.
On the day of the event, each team must present itself at the welcome desk and register at the desk.
During the entire duration of the event, the registered team will be able to participate freely in all the games, by physically presenting themselves at the game stations, manned by a person in charge.
Participation in each game will allow the team to earn 1 point.
Each game has different rules and dynamics, so, depending on the game and the size of the team, participants from one team may be mixed with those from the other teams. At the end of the game, regardless of how the teams were mixed, the point will go to each team in which the winning players were registered (even if they are in a mixed team) (see points 2 to 5).
At the end of each game, the team leader must scan the QR code corresponding to that game, present at the game’s station, to certify the team’s participation and earn the point.
The maximum number of points that can be earned is equal to the number of stations in the event.
It is also possible to repeat the games more than once, but without earning additional points.
At the end of the event, all the minor members of the teams with the highest number of points will participate in a prize draw.
The number and size of the prizes are determined by the event organizer and may include special categories or consolation prizes.
All participants can practice the games before the event by viewing the educational games on the PROGRESS app and on the PROGRESS YouTube channel.
In the “Place to play” section of the PROGRESS app there is a map of the city where the event is taking place, which indicates some outdoor spaces where the educational games can be practiced
During the event, video footage will be taken to be used for promotional purposes, so each overage participant must sign a form for the use of the image. For each minor participant present, the release form must be signed and authorized by a parent or guardian. The form will be available at the event welcome desk.
